PELHAM ROAD (Goddard-Wick) resurfacing will take place through June

Wayne County will begin resurfacing Pelham Road from Goddard Road to
Wick Road on Monday, April 16.
Traffic will be diverted into one lane in both directions while the other lanes are being worked on. The existing asphalt surface will be milled off and the road base repaired. Drainage and utility structures will be repaired and adjusted.
Sidewalk crosswalks will be replaced and improved. The road surface will receive two layers of new asphalt and new pavement markings will be applied.
This work is scheduled to be completed by June 30.
Following the resurfacing, landscaping restoration and clean-up will be performed and is scheduled to be completed by September 1.
Access to all businesses, residents and intersecting streets on Pelham from Goddard to Wick will be maintained during the project. Intersecting streets will be worked on one half at a time.
There may be temporary delays due to construction activities, particularly during the milling and paving operations.
