October 1 – 20: Taylor Community Library needs bags of individually wrapped candy to pass out at youth events, like Hallow-palooza. Please help by donating a bag or two. Peanut-free candy is preferred.

Donate to Make a Difference

The library acts as a collection point for a number of donations that serve our community.  Join us in our efforts by contributing what you can.

Financial donations can be made by cash or check at the front desk. We’re sorry, but we’re not yet able to accept credit card transaction. If you would like to mail a check, please make it out to Taylor Community Library and mail to 12303 Pardee Rd, Taylor, Mi 48180. Thank you!

Book donations must be new or gently used materials, preferably not more than 10 years old, unless they are children’s books. Book donations can be given to the front desk any time we are open, or placed in the green Better World Books bin in front of the library, which is available 24/7, but tends to fill up quickly.

Better World Books is a vendor that picks up these donations and provides the library a small portion of the proceeds from any books they are able to sell online.

The library no longer needs any bottle caps. If you are looking to donate plastic bottle caps or lids, the Allen Park Historical Museum may be collecting them. Please check their website or call them at (313) 415-6010 to confirm before donating.
