    The Rotary Club of Taylor presents the 2019 State of the City Address, featuring Mayor Rick Sollars. All proceeds of this event go to charity. This is Mayor Sollars' sixth annual SOC, during which he highlights accomplishments of the past year and details future goals. The partnership between the Rotary and Mayor Sollars has raised thousands of dollars for charities in Taylor, from the Penrickton Center for Blind Children to the Taylor School District's Robotics program.

    Who says the dads and the daughters get to have all the fun? This year, the City of Taylor is holding a "Mother-Son Date Night" to balance the scales against the annual Daddy-Daughter events. Moms and their sons can expect good music, dinner, desserts, keepsake photos, games and more! Casual dress suggested.

  2. Intermediate Tai Chi Classes

    Instructor: Robert Correll. Tai Chi is a moderate intensity cardiovascular and weight bearing exercise. It is practiced in a slow, gentle and gracefully flowing manner and is easy on your joints. It can be practiced by almost anyone regardless of the level of fitness. The approach is self-paced and non-competitive. "No pain" is the watch word. Tai Chi can improve balance, flexibility, strength and endurance. Studies have shown that Tai Chi can help reduce pain, lower blood pressure, strengthen the lungs, reduce stress and generally increase the sense of well being. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and flat, rubber soled shoes.
