Printing, copying, and faxing

Print directly from your smartphone

You do not need to use a library computer to print your documents. Submit your document using our online form or by sending an email to our print email address.  Documents can be retrieved at the library once you receive a notification from staff that your files will work with our printer. You will receive this confirmation with the estimated printing costs.

Current cost per page (one side of a sheet of paper):

  • Black/White: $0.10
  • Color: $0.50
  • Fax: $1.00

Adult Computer Lab

For all your basic computing needs

Desktop computers are available for one hour use in the building.

Computers are Limited

Please call 734-287-4840 if you would like schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are accommodated as long as computers are available.

Need more time?

Technology kits are available for Taylor residents to check out for one week.  Kits include a Chromebook and wireless hotspot, so you can connect online wherever you need to.  Call the library at 734-287-4840 to reserve a Technology Training Kit. This project was made possible in part by the Institute for Museum and Library Services.

The computing areas of our youth department are currently closed to the public.  Teens and adults can check out a technology training kit at home for up to one week.

Work on homework, play games, and more!

Our youth area includes a few different spaces for young people to use a computer. Youth under 12 years old need to be accompanied by an adult. Computers shut down 15 minutes prior to closing.

  • Youth Computer Lab features filtered internet access with printing
  • Early Learning Station includes AWE computers loaded with educational games designed for kids 8 and under

With specialized equipment to support those with vision impairments

Utilize our equipment to create a more accessible world.  In our lab, we provide:

  • Abisee machine to read physical text aloud
  • iMac computer with advanced software for digital content creation (coming soon)
