Books for a Better World
January 20 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Books for a Better World
Books for a Better World is a quarterly book club dedicated to thinking and talking inequality and injustice in the U.S. and around the world. We explore books about race, gender, immigration, sexuality, poverty, and criminal justice issues. Nonfiction, novels, comics, and memoirs–there’s something for everyone.
Meetings are currently held online. Participate in the discussion on Zoom or follow along on Facebook Live. Click here to register.
January’s book is My Grandfather Would Have Shot Me by Jennifer Teege, available via Hoopla.
