Community Conversation: Technology

June 8 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Community Conversation: Technology

Digital inclusion refers to the activities necessary to ensure that all individuals, including our most disadvantaged residents, have access to information and communication technologies. Some of these technologies include: affordable and reliable internet service; internet-enabled devices that meet the needs of the user; access to training; quality technical support; and online content designed to enable and encourage self-sufficiency, participation and collaboration.

We’re inviting you to take part in a conversation to highlight issues and help our community take ownership of our technological future. Each community conversation is a chance for us to better understand people’s aspirations or dreams for our community. While we can’t promise the conversation will lead to a new program or policy, we will get back to you with what we learned, and how it can help make our work in Taylor more effective. We want to understand the concerns you have, and what you believe might make a difference in strengthening our community.
