Zoom Fatigue: (noun) – tiredness, worry, or burnout associated with overusing virtual platforms of communication.
Since the majority of us are still working or schooling from home, we are also experiencing more and more “Zoom Fatigue”. One way to combat this feeling is to redirect your brain and do something screen-free, like putting together a puzzle. Don’t have any puzzles at home? Check out one of ours today!
We are now circulating puzzles for patrons to check out and enjoy at home. We offer kids puzzles (early education puzzles) and adult puzzles (450 – 2000 pieces).
Checking them out is super easy! Call our front desk at (734) 287-4840 and ask them to place a puzzle on hold for you. If you’re already at the library, or on your way, you can pick it up using our curbside service. However, if you’re still at home and still have more virtual meetings to attend, ask our staff to book you for the next contactless home delivery appointment. Puzzles will be checked out for 3 weeks and can be renewed twice.
When it’s time to return your puzzle, place it in the designated bin next to our dropbox by the south entrance door. NOTE: All items returned, including puzzles, will be quarantined before being removed from your account.
The best part about utilizing our new puzzle collection is that you can still get some reading in by listening to an audiobook using one of our e-resources, such as Overdrive/Libby or Hoopla, at the same time!
