Your Library Account

You may access your account from home by logging onto our library catalog or using our TCL Mobile App. There, you can view items checked out to your account, renew materials, or place holds on items from a variety of libraries and have them delivered for you to Taylor Community Library. On the TCL Mobile App, you also have the ability to bring up a digital version of your library card that can be used at our front desk, self-checkout machines, and printing kiosk.

Should you lose your card, please let us know as soon as possible. We can issue you a new card for a fee of $2.00.  Cards expire after 3 years. If you need to renew an expired library card, bring in your current proof of identification and eligibility, and we can assist you in updating your account.

Non-Residents

If your home library is a member of the TLN network of libraries you can receive a Temporary Card that will be good for 30 days and is limited to 3 checkouts only. We encourage you to visit your home library to obtain a permanent card.

For non-residents outside our shared network system, we offer 2 types of cards: MILibraryCards and SAS Guest cards. For both cards, patrons must already have a library card from their home library. Both of these cards are good for 1 year and are limited to 10 checkouts at a time. For more information regarding these cards, please talk to one of our friendly staff members.
