Michigan 4-H Youth and Teen Textiles (Winter event series)
Taylor Community Library is collaborating with Michigan 4-H to offer a free event series for youth and teens who have an interest in creating their own clothing & creative fashion items. Each week, youth and teens can learn how to operate sewing machines, Cricuts, and vinyl press machines to create and customize clothing, hats, bags, and many other fabric-based crafts. This program is aimed toward ages 8-18, with a limit of 12 attendees per event. There will be one 4-H Adult Volunteer providing all instruction and training, and 4-H will provide all materials/fabrics and tools.
All attendees must register through the 4-H website: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScAhLfEFAtjeMfaP_hNc6g0cypt8gBfxsA7TO5A9aIJxqDfmQ/viewform
If sign-up assistance is needed, paper sign-up sheets will be available in-person at Taylor Library.
Masks are required while attending indoor programming. If you need to request safety accommodations, please contact our director at least one week in advance.
