Michigan 4H Youth and Teen Textile Program

Michigan 4-H Youth and Teen Textiles (Winter event series)

Taylor Community Library is collaborating with Michigan 4-H to offer a free event series for youth and teens who have an interest in creating their own clothing & creative fashion items. Each week, youth and teens can learn how to operate sewing machines, Cricuts, and vinyl press machines to create and customize clothing, hats, bags, and many other fabric-based crafts. This program is aimed toward ages 8-18, with a limit of 12 attendees per event. There will be one 4-H Adult Volunteer providing all instruction and training, and 4-H will provide all materials/fabrics and tools.

This event works on a first come, first serve basis for the first 12 attendees. Attendees will be asked to register with 4-H at this initial meeting and will be signed up for the 6 week program.
