DESCRIPTION:Bark for Books\nIs your child just learning to read or wants to build confidence to read or speak aloud? Do they want to practice reading to a therapy dog? Then join us at Bark for Books for a chance to read aloud any book of your choice to a trained therapy dog! We collaborate with a local therapy dog group to get two dogs in the library for patrons to read to for 15 minute intervals. All the dogs love hearing stories and getting pets and can’t wait to meet you readers! \nRegistration is required and we’ll have 15 spots open for a child to read\, so stop in the library or give us a call starting June 1st to sign up for a time slot.
