DESCRIPTION:Books & Bites Book Club\nBooks & Bites is a monthly book club that reads and discusses YA books with adult crossover and Adult books with teen crossover — anyone who is a fan of these genres can attend. Copies of the next book are passed out and checked out at each meeting. You can also get a copy from our front desk and most of the time they are also available on Hoopla or Libby. \nThis month’s titles: “Mortal Follies” by Alexis Hall & “The Darkness Outside Us” by Eliot Schrefer \n \nAbout Mortal Follies: It is the year 1814\, and life for a young lady of good breeding has many difficulties. There are balls to attend\, fashions to follow\, marriages to consider\, and\, of course\, the tiny complication of existing in a world swarming with fairy spirits\, interfering deities\, and actual straight-up sorcerers. \nAbout The Darkness Outside Us: Sworn enemies sent on the same rescue mission to one of Saturn’s moons\, Ambrose and Kodiak will need to work together and learn to trust each other\, especially once they discover what they are truly up against. \nTo keep up with updates\, join in on our monthly book discussions if you can’t make it in person\, or for general bookish talk\, send us a request to join our Facebook group.
