DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED – Adventures in STEAM – Discoveries with Water Pollution with Michigan 4-H\nJoin Michigan 4-H Spinclub in this STEAM discovery about water pollution. Youth ages 9-14 will get to explore how water pollution occurs and its effects on the environment through hands-on\, engaging\, and STEAM-based experiments in each class session. Youth will learn about how to make water filters\, how to create water cleaning processes\, and more so they can protect clean water and make a difference in their own communities. \nThis event is in 4 different sessions: \nJuly 30th : Understanding Water Pollution\nAugust 6th: Building Water Filters\nAugust 13th: Watersheds and Mapping River Flow\nAugust 20th: Protecting Clean Water \nThis club is limited to 20 children and registration is required. DESCRIPTION:Textile Lab\nTextile Lab is a weekly lab for textile crafters to come together and work on their projects.  If you love to quilt\, sew\, knit\, crochet\, embroider\, needlepoint\, or any other textile crafting\, this is the place for you!  An instructor will be available to teach you how to quilt\, or to guide you on your projects. This is a weekly lab that is open on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
