DESCRIPTION:Sew Crafty\nSew Crafty is a weekly lab for textile crafters to come together and work on their projects.  If you love to quilt\, sew\, knit\, crochet\, embroider\, needlepoint\, or any other textile crafting\, this is the place for you!  An instructor will be available to teach you how to quilt\, or to guide you on your projects. This is a weekly lab that is open on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. This is a collaborative\, inter-generational crafting group intended for kids\, teens\, and adults. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

DESCRIPTION:Bark for Books\nCelebrate reading month with our favorite furry friends. Read aloud to a trained therapy dog for 15 minutes. Children and teens can also use their 15 minutes to practice book reports or speeches for school\, or whatever you think will build their confidence in their reading and speaking skills. There are 16 slots open to read or speak aloud to a therapy dog and registration is required. They love to hear all the stories and get all the pets\, so call or stop in the library to sign up starting 10 a.m. May 8! \n*Registration Required
