This is a weekly lab that is open on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. This is a collaborative\, inter-generational crafting group intended for kids\, teens\, and adults. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

We will be accepting donations of your gently-used\, like-new conditioned children’s Halloween costumes through the month of September. You can drop your costume donations off during library open hours on the youth side near the youth reference desk. We will take donations until the day before the swap\, Tuesday\, September 30th. Any leftover costumes from the swap will be up for grabs for the month of the October on the youth side.

From 10am till 7pm we will have one of our community rooms designated for puzzle swapping. Simply stop in\, place the puzzles you no longer want on the table\, and grab the ones you do want. There is no limit to how many puzzles you can drop off or take home. Don’t have any puzzles to donate? Feel free to stop by any way and see if there is something you’d like to take home. \nTHE FINE PRINT: Please only donate puzzles that have all their pieces to the best of your knowledge. Any puzzles not taken by the end of the event will either be put in our puzzle collection for circulation or recycled. We will be making paper roll mummies and bats\, pumpkin sensory balloons\, and witch cauldron paintings. These crafts are gear towards toddlers to elementary aged kids\, but of course are just as fun for tweens and teens if they wanted to make some\, too. This event is while supplies last.
