When you walk-in you will sign in and be given a set of sticky notes and a pen. We will have tables assigned by genre that are filled with new books hitting the our shelves soon. You will go around and put a sticky note with your name on each book you would like to read. Our staff will place those books on hold for you at the frequency you would prefer\, and as soon as they are processed and put on our shelves you will begin to receive them first over anyone else who wants them. DESCRIPTION:Bark for Books\nRead aloud to a trained therapy dog for 15 minutes. Children and teens can also use their 15 minutes to practice book reports or speeches for school\, or whatever you think will build their confidence in their reading and speaking skills. There are 16 slots open to read or speak aloud to a therapy dog and registration is required. They love to hear all the stories and get all the pets\, so call or stop in the library to sign up starting 10 a.m. August 13!
