Fall Scavenger Hunt

Fall Scavenger Hunt Come on in for some fun and try to find all the items in our Fall Scavenger Hunt.  The in-door challenge, which is designed for all ages, will run all week from October 18 – 24.  Prizes will be awarded to all who finish the scavenger hunt (while supplies last).

Textile Lab

Textile Lab Textile Lab is a weekly lab for textile crafters to come together and work on their projects.  If you love to quilt, sew, knit, crochet, embroider, needlepoint, or any other textile crafting, this is the place for you!  An instructor will be available to teach you how to quilt, or to guide you on your projects. This is a weekly lab that is open on Tuesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Masks are required while attending indoor programming. If you need to request accommodation, please contact our director at least one week in advance.

VIP Support Group

VIP Support Group (Visually Impaired Persons) The VIP meeting is a monthly support group for people experiencing vision loss and their caregivers. Each month, we meet to discuss important topics and connect over shared concerns. Meet in person or join in remotely. Masks are required while attending indoor programming. Michigan 4-H Youth and Teen Textiles

Michigan 4-H Youth and Teen Textiles (Winter event series) Taylor Community Library is collaborating with Michigan 4-H to offer a free event series for youth and teens who have an interest in creating their own clothing & creative fashion items. Each week, youth and teens can learn how to operate sewing machines, Cricuts, and vinyl press machines to create and customize clothing, hats, bags, and many other fabric-based crafts.
