Winter Reading 2021 has arrived!

It’s that time of year again! Chilly winds, falling snow, more time indoors….and books? That’s right! With more time indoors, it can be harder to keep your mind active during the cold weather. Help beat those winter blues by joining our annual Winter Reading Challenge. Our popular bingo sheets have returned with new challenges, and lots of reading fun to fill the coldest days. The 2021 Fall Reading Challenge is Here!

Here at the library, we are officially kicking off our Fall Reading Challenge! The challenge is simple: read some books, win a great prize, and most importantly, have a great time! Our FRC lasts the entire month of October, from Friday, October 1st until Sunday, October 31st. Anyone can participate regardless of age or home library. Our team has created a handy Reading Tracker. Limited Indoor Programming is Back, But What Does That Mean?

Starting September 1st we will be bringing back some of our indoor Teen and Adult programs such as Book Clubs, Teen Advisory Group, Visually Impaired Persons Support Group, Textile Lab, Afternoon Movies, Audio Described Movie Day, and more! While this is super exciting we still need to remain cautious during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
