Join us as we read fiction from all walks of life and perspectives. For our next discussion, we’ll be reading The Book Club for Troublesome Women by Marie Bostwick.
The Book Club for Troublesome Women follows Margaret Ryan, a housewife in 1963 suburban Virginia, who starts a book club with three other women—Charlotte, Bitsy, and Viv—as a way to connect and explore ideas beyond their domestic lives. Initially reluctant, the women find that their discussions, particularly around The Feminine Mystique, spark personal growth, solidarity, and a re-examination of societal expectations for women. *Please call ahead to make sure we have room for new members
