Did you know that even though approximately 38% of the population is eligible to donate blood, less than 5% actually do? And that every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood? Consider donating at our Versiti Blood Center Blood Drive to help ensure patients get the treatment they need and even help save a life.

Things to keep in mind when donating:

• Donating blood takes about an hour of your time from when you first arrive
• You will need to show a valid ID
• You will need to answer a series of health questions before being able to donate (to speed up the process you can download the Versiti Donor App and answer them ahead of time)
• Be sure to wear a loose sleeved or short sleeved shirt as they will need access to the majority of your arm
