Fletcher Park is a new city property that is in the midst of some major updates. It is located just south of Heritage Park between Racho and Pardee. The library has joined with the City of Taylor to offer a new Storywalk experience along the trails that snake through the park.
Along the path, you will see a number of elevated panels with a page from a special storybook selected by our staff to share with your family as you walk through the park. Each set of pages includes activities and questions to help your little ones engage with the story in meaningful ways. We will change up our storybooks each month during our first year in operation, so there is always something new to discover on your walks.
The Storywalk exhibit starts at the northwest corner of the park where a parking lot is eventually planned. Right now, there is private parking available at the neighboring church, New Hope Assembly of God. In the center of the discovery trail, you will also find our latest Tiny Taylor Library installation.
