With the newest order from the MDHHS, we’re rolling out a new service to keep our patrons digitally connected while also keeping them and our staff safe! While we temporarily shut down our computer lab, Chromebooks will now be available for checkout.
Computer Checkouts start November 18.
Starting this Wednesday, patrons will be able to check out Chromebooks like they would any other material from the library. Unlike the 1 hour limit in the computer lab, Chromebooks will check out for 2 hour blocks. To check out a Chromebook, patrons must have a library card in good standing and be over the age of 13. Checkouts can be reserved in advance or made the same day (if slots are available). Free public WiFi is available throughout our parking lot.
Reserve your Chromebook today by calling 734-287-4840.
Printing will still be available.
Printing will continue as normal. Patrons are welcome to upload documents they need printed to our print form and pick up curbside. Printing is currently free and limited to 10 pages per day.
Need some help?
Live, limited tech assistance will be available via our chat services. During open hours, speak quickly and confidentially with one of our helpful staff members. Simply click on the white chat bubble at the bottom of our website and type away!
