The Internal Revenue Service is kicking off the new tax season on January 24, 2022. On this day, the IRS will begin accepting and processing tax returns for the year 2021. Taylor Community Library has ordered the 2021 Federal and State tax forms and they are estimated to arrive mid-February. If you need forms prior to that date you can download and print them directly from the internet. Federal forms can be found on the IRS website. State forms can be found on the Michigan Department of Treasury website.
